Super on Paid Parental Leave legislation introduced to Parliament

Huge congratulations to all the women who’ve advocated for super on Paid Parental Leave! 🎉

We’ve just introduced our Bill to make it happen.

Right now, Australian women retire with 25% less super than men.

We want to close that super gap, which reflects lower pay and time out for caring responsibilities.

Our reforms:

💜 Build on our expansion of PPL to 6 months

💜 Invest 1.1 billion to deliver super on PPL

💜 Benefit around 180,000 families a year
