The time is now!
That’s the evidence from today’s Future Made in Australia Senate Inquiry.
The FMIA Bill is in front of Senate Economics, and it aims to position Australia for the jobs and opportunities of the global net zero transition.
Unions and industry have called for the Bill to be ‘beyond politics’ at today’s hearing to ensure Australian workers, businesses and community see the benefits of transformation.
The Bill intends to:
🌏 Leverage public investment to our national advantage.
🤝 Maximise the benefits of industry transformation for workers and communities
🔍 Ensure robust and evidence-based decision-making.
Hearings on the Bill continue tomorrow, with the final report scheduled to table on 6 September.
