Supporting TAFE Gippsland with a $960,000 tech boost

We want to skill our workforce for the jobs of the future.

So we’re proudly supporting TAFE Gippsland with a $960,000 tech boost for EV automotive training.

With this boost, local mechanics will be able to upskill with hands-on training on new EVs.

CEO of TAFE Gippsland Laura Macpherson spoke with me about their vision to become a VET national leader in clean energy and emerging technologies.

Regions like Gippsland have a significant part to play in Australia’s renewable future.

Last year, 13,000 students from Victoria’s regions enrolled in a Fee-Free TAFE program.

This is a great outcome.

And offering courses where existing professionals can upskill and specialise, like in EVs, will boost those numbers.
