Gippsland post-budget briefing on a Future Made in Australia

No knights at our roundtable – but plenty of local champions!

I partnered with the Committee for Gippsland for a post-budget briefing on a Future Made in Australia.

And how we can build a Future Made in Gippsland too.

Gippsland is an energy-generating powerhouse and our first offshore wind zone.

This region boasts a highly skilled workforce, innovative businesses, and strong education institutions.

And we all agree – there is a bright future ahead for this community.

Our Government is investing in our regions, with:

☀ A Future Made in Australia to scale up net zero industries powered by solar and wind

🔋 Our Net Zero Economy Authority to support Gippsland and other localities in the move to renewable energy generation

🏗 The National Reconstruction Fund – open for business to boost investment in renewables and low-emission technologies.
