Future Made in Australia bill introduced to Parliament

Today’s the day!

The Treasurer has introduced our Future Made in Australia bill into the Parliament.

As the world moves to net zero, we have huge advantages in solar, wind, and green hydrogen to power a new generation of Australian manufacturing.

This bill works to maximise that advantage, and build the industries and jobs of the future, right here.

Key to the legislation is a set of ‘community benefit principles’ so that government investment:

🔨 Drives good, secure well-paid jobs.
🤝 Trains local workers for new opportunities.
💲 Ensures tax transparency for companies receiving support.

We know the world is embracing net zero.
