Every child deserves access to quality early education and care, no matter where they live or what their parents do.

Centre Director Bernadette and her team at Early Learning Victoria Wimbi are delivering just that.

“This centre is about supporting families and creating community,” Bernadette shared.

Wimbi is a purpose-built, Victorian Government-owned and operated early learning service co-located with the local primary school.

The centre is home to a maternal and child health consulting space and community room for the local playgroup, bringing services together in a hub where families are.

It’s also a practical way to make quality early education and care easier to reach, and to help families ditch the dreaded double drop-off!

We want more early learning centres just like Wimbi across Australia.

That’s why the Albanese Labor Government is investing $1 billion through the Building Early Education Fund to deliver not-for-profit and community-led early education and care in the places families need them most.
