A new early learning centre for Whitlam

Whitlam is one of Canberra’s newest suburbs – named after a Labor legend.
Like a lot of newer suburbs, it’s home to a growing number of families with young children.
And where there’s growing families, there’s a need for quality early learning.
That’s why we’re partnering with the ACT Government to build a new early learning service at the Whitlam School.
We’re committing $10 million for this service through the $1 billion Building Early Education Fund, which is building quality not-for-profit early education centres where Australian families need them most.
Co-locating this centre at the school site will mean children are ready to move smoothly into school, and families will have one less drop off to juggle.
Huge thanks to ACT Minister for Education Yvette Berry for welcoming this new investment.
